My Journey: From Learning to Code to Building a Venture
I didn't take the traditional corporate path.
My journey actually started during COVID. Watching millions of traditional jobs disappear overnight broke the illusion of “job security” for me. I realized that waiting for someone else to hand you stability is a risk. That was the moment I decided to take control of my own future.
Sitting in my room, I started teaching myself how to code from scratch using Google, YouTube, and online resources. As AI began reshaping the tech world, my conviction grew even stronger: Why spend my life waiting for a 9-to-5 when I can build software that solves real problems for real people?
Over the next few years, I built, launched, and tested three different ventures. They all failed. But each failure taught me the most important lesson of my life:
Simply knowing how to write code does not make you a founder.
Coding is only one small piece of the puzzle. To build something that truly survives and helps people, you have to learn marketing, operations, clear human communication, and how to build unshakeable trust with strangers.
Those three failures forced me to grow from a coder into a real problem-solver. Today, every single lesson, failure, and skill I learned along the way is dedicated 100% to Mantraist.
